Anderson (injured) and Hales (persona non grata) overlooked for the India Test tour which follows immediately. Same 16 players carry on

Sven, I think Hales having a test average of 18 in his last series, was more a contributory factor.

Ballance is lucky to hang on but also Finn lucky to get the nod over Ball. Another tight match on the cards I think.

Probably because Finn can get the ball to reverse swing, and will have extra bounce on the flat pitch.
